I have installed Jagannatha Horoscope on my two laptops—one a few years ago and another recently downloaded on my new laptop. When I recreated my daughter's horoscope on the new laptop using this software, the planetary positions are completely different. How is that possible? The date, time, and place of birth are the same. Pls help.
Viji Ravikulan,
There were serval updates in the later version, which leads to more accurate placement of planets, possibly resulting in the chart difference.
It's all settings based. I use the following.
Drik panchangam, yukteswar ayanamsa, equal housing system if born within the tropic of cancer & Capricorn (else, sripati housing system), ascendant is in the middle of the house, and at the birth-data input window, I select the option "Use LMT instead & ignore the above " - this in my opinion, calculates the exact local sunrise time, to mitigate any errors in calculating the GMT based time.
Profound thanks for this free service. I have been using this software for over 2 decades, not for profit. I am one of those lucky people to receive the CD by post those days.
I am waiting to see the next update with more features.
Following are some of the new features I am proposing.
-Planetary yogas - such as parijatha, gajakeshari, etc.
-Searching Planetary combinations of more than one planet in future or past.
-Side by side placement of Sahams with planetary positions probably in a circular configuration.
-Calculation of muhurthas for various purposes such as marriage, house warming etc.
-Pancha Pakshi horas and horas of the day.
Shanthi, ji
In top row 5th tab is Preference. click that. one tab will open, then one box will open. in that box 2nd option is ' Related To Display' then in that tab you will find Change language change option.
I want to change my laptop, however I don't know how to copy all the data I stored in jhora to the new one.
Please advise
